NEW MALDEN POLICE STATION

Volunteers Needed

You may have read in the local press that, following a strong community lobby, there are plans to re-open the front counter at New Malden Police Station as an information centre and act as a line of communication to the control room at Kingston. The intention is that it be staffed by Community Volunteers, who will be asked to commit a minimum of 2 hours per fortnight. The opening times will depend on the response but eventually it is hoped to provide a service on Weekdays from 12noon until 8pm and Saturdays from 11 am until 5pm. The police are hoping to recruit people who are keen to make a contribution to the needs of the local area.

N.B.You must be of previous good character (i.e. not have a police record) but will not be required to catch criminals!
