Knit, Natter & Meet the Mayor | Councillor Noel Hadjimichae
Thursday 23 April 2026
10:30 to 12:30
Love knitting and chatting? Then this friendly group is for you!
Wesley’s is delighted to be taking part in the Mayor’s Community Coffee & Conversation Challenge, and we are pleased that Noel Hadjimichael, the Mayor, is keen to visit our café and community hub today. His visit celebrates the wonderful community spirit of our volunteers and groups, and the simple joy of bringing people together through shared activities.
Our Knit & Natter group is a relaxed weekly gathering for anyone who enjoys knitting, crafting, or simply good conversation. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or just starting out, everyone is warmly welcome.
What to expect
- Friendly knitting and conversation
- Support and tips from fellow knitters
- A warm and welcoming community atmosphere
Feel free to bring your own packed lunch, or purchase refreshments from Wesley’s Café. A £2 contribution helps support the session and includes complimentary drinks during the gathering.
When we meet
Every Thursday at 10:30am
Our community hub users should be able to manage their own care independently or be accompanied by a caregiver if support is needed.
